How do I move my trap to another customer in the Aurotrap Manager

Transferring an Aurotrap to a new customer is simple with the Aurotrap Mobile app. 


Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:

Step 1: Move the Trap to Storage

  1. Open/install the Aurotrap Mobile App
    Log in to your account and go to the "Customers" section.

  2. Select the Customer Account
    Choose the account with the trap you want to transfer.

  3. Move to Storage
    In the "Traps" section, select the trap and click "Move to Storage." Confirm the action to temporarily deactivate the trap.


Once clicked confirm, you can't undo the action, and you would have to install the trap again yourself, it is was moved incorrectly.

Step 2: New customer takes the Aurotrap physically and should

  1. Locate the QR Code
    The new customer should find the QR code on the back of the trap.

  2. Scan the QR Code
    Using the Aurotrap Mobile app, the new customer scans the QR code to start the installation.

    (The customer must install the Aurotrap Mobile app, from their preferred app store)

  3. Complete Installation
    Follow the app’s instructions to set up the trap. Once done, the trap will appear in the new customer’s system, ready for monitoring.



Once you have clicked on confirm, the trap will soon appear in the new customers Aurotrap Manager.
