What to do if your Aurotrap has been moved or misplaced

Sometimes a trap may be moved from one location to another during servicing or maintenance. If this happens, it’s important to keep the trap’s location updated in the Manager Dashboard (online, not in the app) to ensure data accuracy.


If a technician moved the Aurotrap

  • Update the location of the trap in the Manager Dashboard to reflect its new position.
  • If the trap is not going to be reinstalled right away, set its status to Storage until it is placed in the new location.
  • When reinstalling the trap, remember that previous data will be overwritten once it’s active in the new location.


If you are unable to determine where your trap is

  • It’s possible the trap was moved but the location was not updated in the system.
  • If you cannot find your trap, please send us the serial number, and our support team can help track its current location.
