How to determine battery adapter 2-pin or 3-pin

To ensure your Aurotrap works properly, it’s important to use the correct adapter cable depending on which battery version you have.

Adapter Cable for new batteries Q3 2025

• 3-pin female → 2-pin male (The green box in below image)

• This cable is designed for the new battery (with green wrapping).

Notice that the adapter has is a 3-pin female connection

Adapter cable for 'older' batteries

• 2-pin female → 3-pin male (The purple box in below image)

• This cable is designed for the older batteries (with blue wrapping).

Notice that the adapter has is a 2-pin female connection

Green-wrapped batteries (new model): Use the 3-pin female to 2-pin male adapter #4050

Blue-wrapped batteries (older model): Use the 2-pin female to 3-pin male adapter #4051

• Using the correct adapter ensures proper connection and safe operation.

If you’re unsure which adapter you need, check the color of your battery wrapping (green for new, blue for old) and match it with the correct cable.

When ordering the 3 pin adapter, use item number #4051 and when ordering the 2 pin adapter, use item number #4050

(The green boxes are the new battery, and adapter #4051 cable that matches, while the purple box, are the older batteries, that require the 2-pin female to 3-pin male cable #4050)

Notice: on the 2nd image you can see the blue battery is a 2-pin male connector, whereas the green battery has a 3-pin male connector. On the 1st image the connector in the orange box is our item number #4050 and on the 2nd image the above connector is also the #4050 (For newer batteries)

If you have a blue battery you are going to use the adapter, that is on the bottom, in the blue box which has the item number #4051
