My Aurotrap is Pending Update

When your Aurotrap shows Pending Update, it means the trap is waiting to receive or complete a firmware update. This is normal, and the trap will continue to work as usual during this time.

A firmware update can take up to 24 hours to finish, depending on the trap’s connection and update cycle.


Why does this happen?

  • A firmware update is available and the trap is preparing to install it.

  • Newly installed traps might not have the latest firmware, which can cause the Pending Update status to appear right after a fresh installation.

  • Only Aurocon Support can push firmware updates, so the status cannot be changed manually by users or technicians.



The update process is fully automatic, and the trap will complete the firmware update on its own. The trap can be left, and once update is finished, the Pending Update status will disappear without any action required from you.
